Mrs. Romero loves St. Matthew’s Episcopal because of its spiritual grounding alongside the academics.
She readily embraces the idea that all children can learn. She cares about her students’ learning and tries to adapt her instruction to meet their needs. It is important to her to create a classroom where her students feel secure and can learn from one another.
She is a certified educator and holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Pan American.
She has 40 years of teaching experience with 35 years of those from Edinburg CISD as an elementary school teacher and five dedicated years of teaching at St. Matthew’s Episcopal.
She’s the very best teacher I could have to teach me Math, Science, and Social Studies. If she makes a mistake, she likes it when we help correct her
I really like Science class in first grade because my brain gets smarter when we do science with Mrs. Romero.
I like Science because we get to do fun things with Mrs. Romero.
A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning.
